Thank you, San Antonio, for making our first annual clothing drive a huge success! We were able to load up two SUV's full of clothing to donate to the homeless outreach ministry of Church Under the Bridge. Our goal with this annual drive is to help make a difference in our home city of San Antonio. The clothing donated was collected to be given to the outreach and some of the t-shirts collected were chosen to be incorporated into T-Shirt Lap Quilts that will be made by Communion Chapel and donated to the National Nursing and Rehab Center. When we give these T-Shirt Lap Quilts, they are a constant reminder to that adult or child that they are loved and cared for by many in our community. The lap quilts will be donated this fall. Stay tuned for photos of the process.
